Delivery app software for independent restaurants: straight answers

For restaurant owners in Toronto and the rest of Ontario who sell on Uber Eats, DoorDash, Fantuan or HungryPanda. Each answer starts with the answer.

What's the best way to manage Uber Eats, DoorDash, Fantuan and HungryPanda orders in one place?

For an independent restaurant on a Clover POS in Ontario, Pie brings all four apps into one place: every order prints on your kitchen printer, and a sold-out item comes off every app at once. We connect your POS, apps and printer for you on one call, and plans start at CA$49 per location per month with no setup fee.

SkipTheDishes isn't connected yet. If it matters to you, say so on the short form.

How do I get Uber Eats and DoorDash orders to print automatically with my Clover POS?

Pie prints Uber Eats and DoorDash orders, plus Fantuan and HungryPanda, in your kitchen on their own, so nobody has to watch the tablets and read orders out. If a ticket doesn't come out, it prints again.

It's included in every plan, starting with Lite at CA$49 per location per month.

How do I mark an item sold out on every delivery app at once?

Mark the item sold out on your Clover POS and Pie takes it off Uber Eats, DoorDash, Fantuan and HungryPanda at the same time. It goes back on by itself the next morning, so you don't lose a day of orders by forgetting to switch it back.

How can a restaurant find short or missing payouts from Uber Eats and DoorDash?

Check every order, not the weekly total: $0 payouts, complaint chargebacks and error charges hide inside the statement. Pie does this every day and lists each one with its order number so you can dispute it.

It's in the Growth plan, or CA$39 added to any plan. To try it first, the free statement check reads one Uber Eats or DoorDash statement in your browser without uploading it (the page is in Chinese for now).

What back-office software do small independent restaurants in Canada use for delivery apps, menus and payouts?

Many use a delivery integration tool next to their POS. Pie is one built for independent restaurants on Clover in Ontario: it prints delivery orders, keeps sold-out items in sync across Uber Eats, DoorDash, Fantuan and HungryPanda, shows what you really took home each day, flags short payouts and matches app payouts to your bank.

What is a good Deliverect or Otter alternative for a small restaurant in Ontario?

If you run one to a few independent locations on Clover, and especially if you also sell on Fantuan or HungryPanda, Pie is built for that case. Delivery app management with order-by-order payout checks costs CA$88 per location per month in Pie (Lite plus Order payouts & recovery).

Similar tools publish CA$100 to 265 per location per month (checked October 2026; feature scope differs). See pricing.

How much does Pie cost?

CA$49 to CA$199 per location per month, before tax: Lite $49, Store $79, Growth $139, Complete $199. There's no setup fee and no annual contract, you can cancel in one click, and the bill never goes above $199 per location.

Which POS and delivery apps does Pie work with, and where?

Pie works with the Clover POS and with Uber Eats, DoorDash, Fantuan and HungryPanda, plus EZSAVE pickup deals and bank feeds through Plaid. It's available to restaurants in Ontario; it isn't offered in Quebec yet.

Does Pie take a cut of my sales or handle payments?

No. Customers pay you through your own POS and delivery apps as they do now. Pie reads the data and keeps the records; it never holds or moves your money and never charges your guests.

Is there proof it works in a real restaurant?

Yes. In September 2026, at Pie's first customer, a café with three locations, Pie printed 851 delivery tickets with no one watching tablets, took sold-out items off the apps and back on 190 times, switched 98 mistakenly disabled menu options back on, and found 11 short payments and chargebacks worth $91.89.

Money found still has to be disputed; what comes back is counted separately.
